This musical, written by actor Bill Owen.
The plot describes the lifestyle of the match cutters at the factory in the East End of London and the efforts of a factory girl, Kate, to seek help to bring about reform of conditions at the factory.
A strong story line is coupled with catchy and original musical numbers and the cast includes a number of well known local 'stars'.
