THE MATCHGIRLS
This musical, written by actor Bill Owen, is being presented
by The Orchard Players at Capel St Mary Village Hall, on
Thursday 17th July, Friday 18th July and Saturday 19th July
at 7.45pm each evening.
The plot describes the lifestyle of the match cutters at
the factory in the East End of London and the efforts of
a factory girl, Kate, to seek help to bring about reform
of conditions at the factory.
A strong story line is coupled with catchy and original
musical numbers and the cast includes a number of well known
local 'stars'.
Tickets are available from Capel Greengrocers and Box Office
